A Universidade de Yale está atualmente aberta para inscrições em 84 cursos gratuitos. Essas capacitações abrangem uma variedade de áreas, como química, economia, história, psicologia, filosofia, estudos religiosos, sociologia, direito e literatura, todas acessíveis exclusivamente por meio da plataforma Open Yale.

Os cursos da Open Yale são ministrados por distinguidos professores e acadêmicos da própria universidade. Cada curso oferece um conjunto abrangente de palestras em formato de vídeo, complementadas por recursos adicionais, como leituras recomendadas, exames e conjuntos de perguntas. As palestras podem ser baixadas em formato de vídeo, e também existe uma opção de versão apenas em áudio.

É importante observar que, ao contrário de muitas universidades brasileiras que oferecem cursos online gratuitos com certificados, a Open Yale não emite certificados de conclusão.
